In July 2023, Diversey was bought by Solenis. The agreement unites two of the industry's heavyweights with activities in related and highly complementary markets. About the role:
This role carries the dual responsibility of maintaining seamless supply continuity across Diversey and Solenis operations while championing cost optimization initiatives. By combining operational discipline with strategic procurement insight, you secure dependable supplier performance, support business-critical planning activities, and negotiate value-driven outcomes that strengthen both resilience and profitability.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead Procurement Operations across ANZ -- providing end-to-end support to the ANZ Procurement Leader and ensuring all operational activities are executed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Planners across all Diversey Business Units -- ensuring continuity of supply, timely issue resolution, and alignment between procurement activities and production or customer needs.
- Support the Procurement Business Operations Team with comprehensive Price and Vendor Data Management -- maintaining accurate pricing records, vendor details, system updates, and ensuring data integrity for decision-making and reporting.
- Work with Regional and Global Category Leads to implement updated payment terms -- supporting compliance, supplier communication, contract alignment, and the smooth rollout of new commercial terms.
- Lead, manage, and deliver pricing enquiries -- for all Diversey and Solenis business leaders, ensuring timely responses, informed pricing decisions, and strong commercial support across both organizations.
- Negotiate cost reductions across assigned portfolios -- using data-driven insights, supplier engagement, and strategic negotiation to achieve savings targets while maintaining service and supply continuity.
Specific Accountability
- Provide timely support to Local Supply Chain Teams on all SAP operational enquiries.
- Assist the Procurement Business Operations Team with vendor setup in both Coupa and SAP.
- Create and update pricing in Outline Agreements (OAs) and maintain accurate vendor data, including pricing, payment terms, incoterms, and units of purchase.
- Support Offshore Finance Teams with P2P processes, resolve finance enquiries, invoice discrepancies, and outstanding payments promptly.
- Work with Regional and Global Category Leads to implement new payment terms and negotiate improved terms with key suppliers to meet Solenis global targets.
- Negotiate cost reductions across assigned direct and indirect portfolios.
- Manage commodity pricing requests for Solenis and Diversey business leaders and negotiate commercially acceptable outcomes.
Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years' industry experience in Chemical, Industrial, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Manufacturing environments.
- Strong SAP operational expertise (including T-codes such as MB51, ME33K, ME3M, ME3L, XK03, MM60, ME2M, ME2L, MM03/MM02, ZSTP_OA_INFO) with the ability to generate custom SAP reports.
- Demonstrated project management experience, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and MS Office, including the capability to develop P&L statements.
- Proven ability to service key stakeholders within agreed timeframes across multiple business functions.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing – an advantage.
- Strong track record of commercial excellence – highly regarded.
