Role Description

This is a casual role for a Personal Support Worker, based in Mareeba, QLD. The Personal Support Worker will be responsible for providing personal care and support, including assisting with daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. They will also offer emotional support, engage with clients in meaningful activities, and assist with technical support and communication needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience as a Support Worker
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • Knowledge of Safeguarding practices
  • Ability to provide Technical Support as needed
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to work independently
  • Experience with similar roles is a plus
  • Certification or training in Disability care would be preferred but not necessary.
