We specialise in Gaseous Suppression, Fire Detection, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Fan Integrity Testing, and Wet & Dry Chemical Systems.
Our expertise lies in protecting unique and high-risk applications with engineered solutions that ensure compliance, safety, and reliability across Australia and beyond.
Our technologies and services cover gaseous suppression, water mist, foam suppression, specialised detection, and micro-environment systems. We work across critical industries including industrial, commercial, petrochemical, infrastructure, marine, mining, defence, and transport.
We are seeking an experienced State Manager – Special Hazards Fire to lead and support our NSW / ACT customer base, driving growth while delivering tailored engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships across NSW and ACT
- Develop new clients and markets within the region
- Present technical solutions and capabilities to clients and consultants
- Provide quotations and assist with design, install and commissioning
- Market and sell specialised fire protection systems and equipment
- Attend industry expos and conferences to represent DIS Fire Systems
- Manage a structured quote register, pipeline, and follow-ups
- Travel interstate as required, including occasional overnight stays
Qualifications & Competencies
- Extensive experience in fire protection, particularly Special Hazards
- AutoCAD experience
- Experience with Gas Suppression, Watermist, Foam Systems, and specialised detection
- Fire qualification – Tertiary Diploma (desirable)
- Knowledge of relevant national and international fire standards
- Experience with Uptick
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Strong computer and technical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong customer service focus
