QMC Group have a position vacant for an experienced Civil Construction / Landscape Tradesman to join our team immediately. The successful candidate will report to the Site Supervisor, working on a diverse range of LGA Civil and Landscape Projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Prior experience working on construction projects is required.
  • Concreting experience is preferred.
  • Certificate III in Landscape Construction (desirable) or equivalent experience.
  • Construction Induction White Card.
  • Proficiency in both hard and soft landscaping techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret Landscape & BYDA Services Plans including accurate set out and understanding of levels.
  • Strong WHS, time management and organizational skills to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
  • Willingness to Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels including inter-company; client representatives and consultants; the local business and residential community; and authorities.
  • Team player, adaptive and versatile, with a positive attitude.
  • Driver's license.
  • Experience operating machinery such as bobcats and excavators (desirable).

THE ROLE

As part of our Landscape team, you'll play a key role in constructing & delivering civil landscape projects from start to finish. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Be part of a team of skilled landscapers, providing high-quality workmanship.
  • Work alongside the Site Supervisor and Project Engineer to ensure the successful delivery of the project from start to finish.
  • Participate in daily Toolbox/Prestart reporting and administrative tasks to keep project documentation up to date.
  • Collaborate with team and carry out works set by Site Supervisor on a daily basis.
  • Contribute to communication between site and office team.
  • Undertake project reviews with Site Supervisor as required.
  • Carry out works in accordance with QMC FOCUS Initiative.

Salary/wages and allowances will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
