The Team

The Operations area is responsible for providing client service & administration functions across a full suite of Ord Minnett products.

Our Operations team plays a vital role in delivering exceptional client service and seamless administration across a diverse range of investment products. Our Primary focus is to ensure all client requests are processed within a timely manner, relationships with internal/external business partners are maintained, and to consistently meet service standards while ensuring a seamless service experience to our clients.

The Role

We are excited to invite enthusiastic and detail-oriented recent graduates to join us as a
Fixed Interest Administrator
in our Sydney office. This role will be required to assist with the CMT investments managed through an external custodian. The successful applicant will need to process investment instructions and perform reconciliations for a variety of accounts.

Working closely with a supportive team, you'll develop key skills in international settlements, corporate actions, and trade bookings, setting you up for a successful career in finance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Processing CMT application and redemptions accurately and within agreed service standards.
  • Onboard & maintain CMT accounts for new and existing clients.
  • Reconciling our cash product accounts to meet audit requirements.
  • Assist in allocating Adviser commissions.
  • Validating and actioning term deposit investment instructions (new investments, roll-overs and maturities) from advisers.
  • Answering inbound calls to achieve a positive and seamless service experience.
  • All inbound email queries received are accurately attended to and resolved same day.
  • Proactively follow up outstanding requirements where necessary.
  • Client confirmations are generated and dispatched within agreed daily service standard.

About You

Required experience/ knowledge:

  • Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in finance, business, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years' experience or an interest in financial services (fixed interest experience is a plus).
  • Proven ability to prioritise work and meet agreed deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience working in a call centre environment, ideal but not essential
