We currently have full-time and part-time opportunities for talented Dog Groomer's to join the Habitat team at our Port Melbourne location.

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for all aspects of managing our grooming studio, including customer service and managing customer bookings, maintaining the studio and grooming equipment – and, of course, ensuring our canine clients leave our store looking and feeling great

Our ideal candidate for this role is…

  • Totally devoted to providing excellent customer service to our clients – both human and canine
  • Confident working with dogs of all breeds, sizes and ages
  • Confident in animal handling, with the ability to handle a diverse range of dogs including various breeds, sizes and ages
  • Able to work independently and manage their own time
  • Experienced working with budgets and projected targets
  • An excellent communicator, with attention to detail
  • Willing to mentor junior groomers in their professional development
  • Focused on risk management and injury prevention, prioritising personal safety in your own practices, as well as the safety of animals in your care.
  • A positive person, with a can-do attitude, who has a genuine love for animals
  • A qualified groomer and/or has significant experience working as a groomer within a salon environment.
