We are seeking experienced dog groomers to join our team in Berwick. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a positive and friendly environment, providing exceptional grooming services and caring for dogs.

Job Description

  • Performing full-service dog grooming, including bathing (if bathers not available), brushing, nail trims, ear cleaning, trimming coat, and styling dogs according to their breed and the customer's preferences
  • Handling dogs in a calm and gentle manner to ensure their comfort and safety
  • Providing excellent customer service and addressing any client inquiries or concerns
  • Maintaining a clean and well-organized work environment, including cleaning grooming equipment.
  • Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and animal welfare regulations

Requirements:

Minimum 6 month of experience in dog grooming.

Energetic and physically fit- able to stand for long periods of time, as you are on your feet all day. must be willing to groom larger dogs

Sound knowledge of dog breeds, grooming techniques, and pet health and safety

Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

Certification in dog grooming or a related field is preferred, but not essential

Employment Type: Start as casual, with the potential for part -time and full-time for the right candidates.
