We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Associate with 3+ years PAE to join our national Resources & Energy team, based in either Brisbane or Perth. This is a great opportunity for someone wanting national exposure and the opportunity to work with three exceptional Partners and a collegiate, high performing team.

With an enviable client list including sector leading energy and mining companies, Government departments, financiers and service providers, this role will suit someone with experience in Resources & Energy, Planning & Environment or Corporate law.

Covering all aspects of Resources & Energy legal matters across local and international jurisdictions, the role offers exposure to work such as:

  • industry specific M&A, including asset acquisition, divestment and commercialisation;
  • major project development work;
  • renewable energy development and commercialisation projects;
  • energy transition specific advisory and transactional matters;
  • industry leading native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage matters;
  • pro bono legal services for various not-for-profits, charities, community legal centres and First Nations communities.

You will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively and have strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service.
