Role Summary
We are currently seeking an experienced Charge Up Operator to join our team for available work in the Central West NSW region.

If you are a skilled, Charge Up Operator with current BUEL-ticket and with underground experience, HMR is seeking you to join our FIFO/DIDO team in Central West NSW. This full-time role has minimum 6 month commitment, with potential for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in an underground Charge Up role
  • Safely and efficiently perform development and production charging operations
  • Safe transport and handling of explosives
  • Safe management explosives magazines
  • Accurately conduct and complete all explosive stock management records
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and safety checks
  • Perform basic daily maintenance on machine to maintain uptime

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Hold an open & current BEUL ticket 
  • NSW Site Security ticket
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar Underground position
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
  • Ability to meet pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
  • Police clearance (within 6 months)
  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
