About the role

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager the Restaurant Supervisor has the day to day responsibility for the efficient operation of the Restaurant and Bar as well as other outlets assigned; room service and function services. This is a hands on position, being the public face of the restaurant and bar, ensuring smooth handling of the operations, managing resources and employees, creating a safe environment for staff and guests while ensuring guest satisfaction.

As the supervisor in charge in the absence of the Food and Beverage Manager, as such will will provide guidance to team members while ensuring the smooth operation of the food and beverage department.

Who are you?

  • A passion for great food, wine, cocktails and beverages
  • Understand the importance of genuine guest service interactions, this is a passion for you
  • Proficient in the use of POS and other related software applications
  • Maintain and/or build customer and key stakeholder relationships
  • Highly developed written and verbal presentation skills are mandatory, as is the ability to inspire, persuade and enthuse others
  • Able to listen, consult and make effective judgements, without favour on difficult decisions
  • Have solid experience as a restaurant supervisor
  • Hold a current RSA certificate
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, mornings & evenings

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $72,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Korora, NSW 2450: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Restaurant management: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (Required)
