Located inside the famous Chinese Gardens of Sydney, The Gardens by Lotus is an exciting ‘Teahouse’ style dining and events space. The restaurant is owned and managed by Sydney’s premium restaurant group, Lotus Dining, celebrating modern Chinese cuisine, world class dumplings and award-winning wine lists.
The role is a hands -on position and perfect for a seasoned restaurant Supervisor looking for a new challenge. You will have the support of a strong management and operations team, internal and external training and opportunity for growth and career progression.

**What we are looking for**:

- Minimum 1 year experience as a Supervisor/3 years of team leader in a fast paced, restaurant with a la Carte service
- Manage front and back of house operations
- Working product knowledge of all food and beverage and the ability to impart knowledge to staff
- Effectively manage the restaurant in the absence of the Restaurant Manager/Assistant Manager
- Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensure all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including those for cash handing and safety/security
- Assist in new menu promotions and marketing drives
- Conduct staff training sessions and daily briefings
