About the role
Carpet Flooring Group is seeking two enthusiastic and customer-focused Customer Service Representatives to join our vibrant retail teams in Kilmore & Kyneton, Victoria. In these casual/part time roles, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our customers throughout their flooring selection and purchasing journey. Both positions have minimum hours each week with the option to work additional hours covering personal and annual leave for our full-time staff.
What you'll be doing
- Supporting our team with administrative tasks eg uploading documents, sending product information, emailing to customers promotion information, filing, keeping data bases & displays up to date.
- Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering inquiries and guiding them through the product selection process
- Demonstrating flooring samples and materials to help customers find the perfect solution for their needs
- Processing sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Co-ordinating the customer purchase from initial enquiry, quoting, providing the product & warranty information, ordering stock, booking the installation date through to job completion.
- Maintaining a well-presented and organised retail environment
What we're looking for
- Previous customer service or retail experience, with a passion for providing exceptional customer care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to confidently discuss flooring options
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
- A friendly, approachable and helpful attitude
- Flexibility to work a casual/part time schedule in either our Kilmore & Kyneton stores, including Saturday mornings and also to cover annual leave or personal leave as required.
