Clinical Unit Assistant

Scientia Clinical Research (SCR) is a state-of-the-art clinical trials facility in the heart of Randwick's thriving medical precinct. We're looking for a motivated, reliable, and people-focused Clinical Unit Assistant to join our Clinical Operations team.

What you'll do:

In this role, you'll be the friendly face and dependable support that keeps our clinical unit running smoothly. Your work will directly impact the experience of our trial participants and the success of groundbreaking research.

  • Welcome and support trial participants, ensuring they feel comfortable, respected, and well cared for.
  • Prepare and maintain consultation and treatment rooms, keeping the unit safe, clean, and fully stocked.
  • Assist clinical staff with non-clinical tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Coordinate and schedule participant appointments, helping the team stay on track.
  • Provide accurate administrative support including filing, data entry, and document preparation.
  • Follow SCR's SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Work as part of a collaborative, professional team committed to excellence.

  • Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new systems.
  • Previous experience in healthcare, clinical trials, or customer service is an advantage but not essential—training will be provided.
