In response to increasing demand for our services, we have an exciting and unique opportunity for an experienced racecourse veterinarian to join our team. This position is a full-time or part-time role, with time spent at the iconic Macedon Lodge, home to some of Australia's most elite racehorses. This role is ideal for a passionate and skilled racecourse vet who thrives in a dynamic, high-performance environment.

*About Victorian Equine Group (VEG)*

You will be supported by the Victorian Equine Group, based at Bendigo, which serves as the main hub for our equine veterinary services. The Victorian Equine Group operates Bendigo Equine Hospital and several satellite locations in Victoria. Our satellite locations service studs and clients in the Lancefield region, in the Nagambie region and in Victoria's northern regions. VEG provides:

• A team of highly experienced equine veterinarians and specialists.
• Access to advanced diagnostic equipment and hospital facilities.
• A collaborative network to ensure the Macedon Lodge satellite clinic operates with the full backing of a leading equine practice.

*What You Will Do*

• Provide exceptional veterinary care to thoroughbred racehorses at Macedon Lodge and surrounding areas.
• Participate in an on-call roster shared with our Lancefield satellite clinic.
• Work closely with trainers and support staff to ensure optimal horse health and performance.

*What We Are Looking For*

• Minimum 2 years' experience as an equine veterinarian.
• Experience or interest in racehorse related veterinary practice.
• Strong technical skills and confidence in all aspects of equine practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Bachelor of Veterinary Science or equivalent degree which is recognised in Victoria (Assistance with visas and sponsorships can be provided for eligible candidates)
