About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner or experienced Trade Assistant, to join our growing team in our busy furniture workshop located in Loganholme, Queensland. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting high-quality, custom-made furniture and joinery pieces, using both traditional techniques and modern machinery. This is a hands-on role in a supportive and professional team environment.

Role Title:Cabinet Maker/Joiner/Furniture Maker

Hours:Monday – Friday, Full Time Permanent

Salary: $30-$35/hr

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Cabinet Making or or significant industry experience highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Skilled in the use of woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team environment
  • Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety practices

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manufacture and assemble custom furniture, cabinetry, and joinery items from detailed plans and technical drawings
  • Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools with precision and care
  • Read and interpret workshop drawings and cutting lists accurately
  • Work with a variety of materials including solid timber, veneers, MDF, laminate, and hardware components
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout production
  • Participate in on-site installations as required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace in accordance with WHS guidelines
  • Collaborate with workshop staff and management to meet production deadlines
