We are currently recruiting motivated, reliable, and flexible Disability Support Workers to join our growing community access and supported independant living team across the Central Coast.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Personal care (showering, dressing, medication support)
  • Daily living assistance (meal preparation, shopping, domestic tasks)
  • Community access (appointments, social outings, transport)
  • Capacity building (goal setting and progress)
  • Working a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts.
  • Implementing and following care plans – including mealtime management, behaviour support, and chronic health needs
  • Documenting accurate case notes and building respectful, professional relationships
  • Supporting participants to build their skills, confidence, and capacity
  • Providing high-quality support to participants in the community and/or a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment.

  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepover shifts as well as fill in for the team where required
  • High attention to detail with documentation, case notes, following care plans and completing WHS tasks.

Desirable Skills and Requirements:

  • Cert III in Individual Support (Disability) or similar – highly regarded
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • WWCC and NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Driver's licence and roadworthy, comprehensive insured, accessible vehicle
  • Experience with complex needs, behaviour support, and health plans is a plus
