The Role

Due to the sourcing of new materials for a product, our client is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to work with the Verification and Validation to team to design test jigs and tooling to ensure new materials meets specifications. Main duties will include:

  • Mechanical design of jigs, fixtures and tooling using SolidWorks and Creo
  • Testing designs to ensure they meet strict specifications incorporating GMP and other compliance
  • Assist with the testing of new materials and accurately recording results
  • Compiling audit reports

The Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering (or Similar) Degree
  • Experience using CAD ideally SolidWorks or Creo
  • Previous manufacturing design experience ideally Medical Devices
  • Availability for casual role
