Client Manager role for a top 100 AFR listed public practice firm.

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

  • • Preparation of financial reports including trial balance and statements of financial performance and position
  • • Preparation of work papers and files
  • • Analysis of financial statements and provision of explanations of key matters
  • • Updating of permanent tax files
  • • Identification of tax compliance and planning issues
  • • Resolution of tax issues
  • • Calculation of taxable income and reconciliation to financial statements
  • • Preparation and finalisation of tax returns and BAS
  • • Completion of management account checklist
  • • Identification of efficiency gains on assignment
  • • Identification and resolution of tax planning issues
  • • Preparation of finance submissions

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' of professional accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
  • CA/CPA preferred
