Barty Mechanical Pty Ltd, a proudly local and family-owned business in Kalgoorlie, is seeking experienced and qualified mechanics to join our growing team.

We specialise in servicing and repairing light commercial vehicles and small trucks, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, attention to detail and fast turnaround times.

Our workshop supports a diverse range of commercial clients, including mining operations, road transport and logistics fleets, drilling and exploration companies, trades and service contractors, government and council departments, and emergency response units such as Fire & Rescue. We pride ourselves on being a trusted service partner to the Goldfields community.

From routine servicing and suspension upgrades to diagnostics and complex repairs, we keep essential vehicles and equipment running safely and reliably. We are also the authorised Hino service agent for the region and the exclusive EFS aftermarket suspension distributor in the Goldfields.

This is a residential Kalgoorlie-based role with an opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial vehicles in a fast-paced, well-equipped workshop.

What You'll Bring

Applicants will need to demonstrate the following to be considered for the above positions:

  • Australian Trade Certificate (Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle)
  • ARC Refrigerant handling licence (preferred not essential)
  • High standard of workmanship and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong focus on safety, organisation and cleanliness
  • Professional attitude and reliable work ethic
  • Own trade-specific tools
  • Current C class drivers licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and regular drug and alcohol testing

Additional Requirements:

  • Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
  • Minimum of three references from previous employers
