We're seeking a Junior Business Services Accountant to join our tight-knit team to assist in providing accounting, taxation, and advisory services to our esteemed portfolio of clients. This role serves as a foundational step toward becoming a skilled Senior Accountant in your own right. If you possess robust IT skills and a passion for continual learning, we're committed to nurturing your growth into a proficient Accountant.

Your Key Responsibilities:

· Engage with clients both in person and electronically

· Assist / prepare Tax Returns for individuals, companies, and trusts (SMEs)

· Lodge BAS, IAS, FBT, and Payroll Tax

· Perform bank reconciliation, payroll, and other bookkeeping tasks via Xero / MYOB

· Coordinate ATO lodgements and client correspondence

Desired Skills and Experience:

· Currently studying or intending to study for CA/CPA

· years' experience in an Australian CA/CPA firm

· Advantageous to have Xero experience.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

· Australian permanent residency or citizenship required
