The Opportunity

Our Elizabeth North centre is seeking a passionate Diploma Qualified Room Leader to join our growing team. This role is perfect for an experienced educator who is committed to high-quality practice, enjoys mentoring others, and is excited to help shape an exceptional early learning environment.

As a Room Leader, you will guide your team in creating meaningful learning experiences and fostering strong relationships with children and families.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor a team of educators within your room
  • Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
  • Build trusting, respectful relationships with families
  • Oversee documentation, observations, and learning stories to ensure high standards
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and well-organised learning environment
  • Work closely with the Centre Director and colleagues to support a positive centre culture

What You'll Bring

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Room Leader or senior educator (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of child development, EYLF, and NQS
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills
  • A nurturing, positive attitude and genuine passion for early childhood education
  • Current Working With Children Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
