The role - Homes Victoria within Housing Development as a Graduate Project Officer

As a graduate in the Aboriginal Graduate Program 2025 with the department, you will get hands-on experience along with formal development opportunities tailored to build your skills. This will give you a professional advantage in the increasingly competitive workforce, wherever your career may take you.

This graduate position sits within the Delivery Unit of the Housing Development branch. The graduate will provide assistance and input into the tasks required at each stage of project development for a number of exciting projects including the Regional Housing Fund – Colac and Wodonga. This will include assistance with procurement of consultants, setting up meetings and taking minutes, filing, report writing, reviewing documents, etc. There may be opportunities to undertake site visits with the project manager.

Typically, graduates undertake a structured program at the department which comprises of:

  • opportunities to undertake a diverse range of work
  • work rotations designed to expose you to business areas across the department
  • on the job and formal training to help you establish your professional grounding
  • opportunities to build professional networks

Eligibility

To be eligible for the Aboriginal Graduate Program 2025, you must:

  • Be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
  • Have completed, or be in your final year, of your undergraduate degree or postgraduate degree.

A SPECIAL MEASURE PROVISION APPLIES TO THIS ROLE
