About the role

ASV Sales and Service Qld Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Parts Manager to join our team in Archerfield, Queensland. This full-time role is responsible for managing the parts and inventory operations for our construction equipment dealership, ensuring efficient and effective parts management to support our customers and business objectives.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the day-to-day management of the parts department, including inventory control, ordering, receiving, and distribution
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date parts records and inventory levels
  • Providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, resolving any issues or inquiries in a timely manner
  • Monitoring and analysing parts usage and demand data to optimise inventory and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Liaising with suppliers and other departments to ensure the timely availability of parts
  • Supervising and training parts department staff to ensure they are equipped to provide exceptional service
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of parts department policies and procedures
  • Contributing to the overall success and growth of the business

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a parts management or similar role within the construction equipment industry
  • Strong knowledge of parts inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stock control
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external customers
  • Proficient in using parts management software and other relevant computer applications
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service
