Wanted: Associate to Senior Associate commencing Aug/Sept 2025

MST Lawyers is a mid-tier law firm which provides best practice legal representation servicing clients ranging from individuals, SMEs, national and international corporations.

We now have a great opportunity for an Associate or Senior Associate to join our Dispute Resolution & Litigation Team. It is a smaller team with real growth opportunities.

We are looking for an outstanding candidate keen to continue their legal journey. Attributes candidates must have include:

· Legal reasoning and a willingness to get involved in the cut and thrust of disputes work

· Being able to do the work with reasonable autonomy – meaning that the candidate should have a very good grasp of file management, client management and the litigation work

· Prior experience in franchising, leasing and corporations disputes would be an advantage as well as a background in insolvency work

· Prior experience running strategy on litigation files

· A history of appearance work in Courts and Tribunals both in terms of mediations and trials

· A willingness to participate in marketing of the firm and a desire to win work

· Attention to detail

· An ability to communicate in writing and in person

· An ability to work as part of a team and be open to constructive supervision

· Excellent written and oral English ability

· Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook familiarity

MST will:

· Provide you with ongoing support, supervision and guidance

· Help you to understand what it takes to build a legal career and progress to Principal should you wish to do so

· Provide you with ongoing learning and development opportunities to ensure ongoing knowledge and skills development
