As part of the SRE Resiliency & Availability team, you'll drive initiatives that embed Machine Learning, Generative AI, and automation into our resiliency strategy. Our mission is to simplify and automate compliance, observability, and resilience, enabling engineers to focus on innovation and speed.
You'll collaborate with experienced senior engineers and play a key role in developing the next generation of talent, solving real-world challenges that impact millions of customers.

Your Impact
As Senior Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead initiatives to create technical automation/AI solutions for governance and control processes across critical IT domains.
- Champion DevSecOps transformation and embed resiliency practices across engineering teams.
- Drive adoption of AI and automation to improve system reliability and reduce operational risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy
- Lead a high-performing engineering team focused on resiliency, availability, and automation.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Technical Delivery
- Drive initiatives to automate governance and control processes across critical IT domains.
- Identify and implement opportunities to eliminate manual operations through scalable solutions.
- Champion adoption of AI, Machine Learning, and automation to improve system reliability and reduce operational risk.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with senior technology leaders to align resiliency objectives with business priorities.
- Communicate technical strategies and outcomes to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Talent Development
- Mentor and coach engineers, including graduates, to build future technical leaders.
- Promote knowledge sharing and best practices across engineering teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Leadership and Technology.
- Strong background in cloud platforms, automation frameworks, and DevSecOps practices.
- Expertise in resiliency engineering, observability, and compliance automation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale engineering initiatives and manage complex technical programmes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years in Front Line/Operational technical team management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience gained through hands-on technical work.
- Experience with AI/ML integration in operational workflows.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with financial services technology environments and regulatory compliance.
