About the Role

You will be a Lead hands on SRE Engineer owning the reliability, scalability, and performance of critical systems across a low latency distributed environment. You will work closely with infrastructure, trading, and software engineering teams to build platforms that run fast, stable, and secure under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and operating high availability low latency infrastructure
  • Building and improving automation frameworks for provisioning deployment and configuration
  • Monitoring and tuning performance across Linux systems, networking, and distributed services
  • Developing reliability best practices including incident management, post mortems, runbooks, and SLAs
  • Driving improvements in observability across metrics tracing and logging in a microservices ecosystem
  • Hardening environments through security, fault tolerance, and resilience engineering
  • Working hands on in production environments where uptime and performance directly impact trading outcomes
  • Mentoring engineers and setting reliability standards across the business

Qualifications

Seven plus years in SRE, Infrastructure, Platform, or DevOps roles in high availability environments.

Linux and Networking a must.

Required Skills

  • Strong Linux systems engineering knowledge with performance tuning experience
  • Proven ability to operate and improve mission critical systems
  • Excellent coding ability in Python, Go, Rust, C plus plus, or Bash
  • Expertise with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SaltStack, or Puppet
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and modern deployment patterns
  • Solid networking fundamentals including TCP IP, DNS, routing, switching, multicast, and latency tuning
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, ELK, and OpenTelemetry
  • Experience with CI CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins
  • Cloud exposure is helpful but bare metal and hybrid environments are common
  • Experience in trading, payments, fintech, gaming, or high throughput systems is highly regarded but not essential
