Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for performing structural design and analysis, preparing detailed engineering calculations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team on construction and development projects. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing project timelines, and utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) tools to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires leadership in guiding junior engineers and fostering innovative approaches to structural challenges.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Structural Analysis and Structural Engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering with experience in infrastructure and construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for drafting and modeling.
- Ability to perform precise engineering calculations and analytical evaluations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to ensure project accuracy and quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with professional engineer certification (preferred).
- Experience in leading engineering teams and managing project deliverables is an advantage.
