Engineering Manager – Platform Engineering

We're on a mission to modernise how we build, deploy, and scale software and we're looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Platform Engineering team through this exciting transformation.

As we build out our cloud-native capabilities in AWS, we're modernising our legacy systems and designing new applications with serverless-first architectures. We're also exploring how AI and automation can help us deliver faster, safer, and smarter and this role will be at the heart of it all.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and grow a high-performing DevOps team focused on enabling engineering excellence across the org.

  • Drive the adoption of modern DevOps practices, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and incident response.

  • Partner with engineering teams to modernise legacy applications and build new cloud-native services.

  • Champion serverless, event-driven, and scalable architectures in AWS.

  • Foster a culture of empowerment, where every engineer has the tools and confidence to deliver their best work.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience leading DevOps or platform engineering teams in cloud-first environments.

  • Deep knowledge of AWS services, infrastructure automation (e.g., Terraform, CDK), and CI/CD tooling.

  • A strong grasp of modern software delivery practices, including GitOps, monitoring, and resilience engineering.

  • A collaborative leadership style that uplifts others and drives continuous improvement.

  • Bonus: Experience with AI/ML platforms or integrating AI into DevOps workflows.
