About the Opportunity:

We currently have vacancies to work in one of our SIL homes located in Sydney (NSW) 2155, supporting our participants to live their best possible life. You will assist in providing the support our clients' needs in their Supported Independent Living accommodation as well as with accessing the community. Roles needed to be filled include:

  • Night sleepovers (inactive) - Monday to Sundays (7 days on offer), with flexibility of days. Please note a sleepover rate applies.
  • Monday to Sunday - AM and PM available, flexible hours hour shifts on offer)
  • Active Night shifts
  • 2-3 days per week of social and community access.
  • Occasional additional shifts to cover absences, including weekend work (penalty rates apply).

This role involves a range of duties including:

  • Personal Care
  • Household tasks
  • Support in the community
  • Driving the supported person in your car (travel reimbursed)
  • Record keeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Medication Assistance

Essential Requirement:

  • Minimum Certificate III in disability or at least equivalent.
  • Current First Aid & CPR
  • Current NSW Driver License
  • NDIS Worker Screening check
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • National Police Certificate Clearance
  • Valid open C-class licence and access to own car
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance
  • Australian Working Rights
