Position Information

Erskine Park High School is a comprehensive Western Sydney school located in the Eastern Creek network of schools. The school's 820 enrolment includes 5% of students who identify as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and a further 30% of students who come from backgrounds where English is an Additional Language or Dialect. The school also has an Inclusive Education program (Support Unit) made up of seven classes. Key whole school initiatives include a focus on explicit and visible teaching and learning in all classrooms; high expectations regarding student behaviour; innovative wellbeing programs; extensive professional learning opportunities to develop the capacity of all staff to enhance their classroom practice; vocational education opportunities for students and an inclusive school culture. The school is a member of the St Clair Erskine Park network of schools and connections with our community are highly valued.

Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Food Technology

Ability to work collaboratively with members of the TAS faculty and contribute to the development of innovative programs

Highly developed communication, interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to build positive and productive working relationships with students, staff, parents, carers and the wider school community.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
