We are the leading provider of Managed Technology Solutions to local and regional organisations in Australia where we help businesses across the nation to harness office technology to improve productivity, efficiency and growth.

Our customer relationships and delivering outstanding experiences are critical to our success as a Technology Partner. We are looking for an IT Project Engineer to join our Sunshine Coast office, while supported by the wider team.

The key areas of focus are


• High-Level IT Project Engineering - given your technical expertise you will be called upon to implement IT projects, on-time and within budget that ensure successful outcomes for our clients.


• Team Leadership – you'll be comfortable with, and capable of providing, technical assistance and leadership to other Project Delivery team members.


• Client Experience - At efex, it's all about our clients. You will ensure that all project work is carried out to the highest possible standards to ensure that every client experience is a positive one.

We are looking for people who have the following expertise in IT


• Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is desired


• 3-5 years proven experience in a similar technical, project-focused role


• VOIP / ISP and implementation experience


• Network vendor certification, e.g. Cisco CCNA, Juniper JNCIA, highly regarded


• Microsoft technology ecosystem experience; Windows, Windows Server, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services


• Microsoft 365 and modern workplace


• Microsoft MCSA / MCSE verifications, preferable windows server and cloud


• VMware / Hyper – V design and implementation experience


• Excellent communication skills


• Excellent interpersonal skills


• Proven ability to work independently


• Proven ability to manage assigned projects autonomously

Technical skills are only part of what the role entails, so the successful candidates will also need to demonstrate the following attributes


• Desire and willingness to constantly learn internal systems and keep abreast of new and emerging technologies


• A pleasant demeanour with a professional and positive approach to client service


• An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where you can prioritise competing task requirements
