About the role

JTC Consulting Engineers are seeking highly motivated and experienced Structural and Civil Engineers to join their dynamic team in Maroochydore, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in delivering innovative civil and structural engineering solutions for a diverse range of projects across the North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Region.

What you'll be doing

  • Undertaking structural and civil design of residential, commercial and industrial developments
  • Conducting site inspections, preparing engineering reports, drawings and documentation
  • Liaising with clients, authorities and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
  • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
  • Contributing to the continued growth and success of the engineering team

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualification in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in a similar role
  • Strong technical skills in structural and civil design, including the use of relevant software
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Demonstrated experience in project delivery and the ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Registration or eligibility for registration as a RPEQ.
  • Australian work rights or valid visa with work authorisation
  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (AS/NZS) and Building Code of Australia
  • Valid Drivers Licence
