Job summaryAs a Partner and Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for managing our channel partner relationships and overseeing the distribution of NetApp products and services in defined region. You will work closely with our channel partners, distributors, and internal teams to develop and execute effective strategies that drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.
Key responsibilitiesChannel/Partner Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and system integrators.
- Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand NetApp's reach.
- Collaborate with channel partners to develop joint business plans, set sales targets, and track performance.
- Provide training, enablement, and support to channel partners to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and resources to effectively sell NetApp products and services.
Distribution Management:
- Manage the distribution network in defined region, including forecasting and optimizing distribution processes.
- Scale the distribution-led business through velocity sales motions and Distribution Managed Partner (DMP) growth
- Work closely with distributors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of NetApp products to customers.
Coordinate with internal teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to align distribution strategies with overall business objectives.
Sales and Business Development:
Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies that leverage channel partners and distribution networks.
- Conduct regular business reviews with channel partners and distributors to assess performance, address challenges, and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure NetApp remains competitive in the market.
- Proven experience in channel management, distribution management, or business development within the IT industry.
- Demonstrable results in building a velocity business through channel-led programs and initiatives
- Strong presentation skills and ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all management levels
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with channel partners and distributors.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify market opportunities and develop effective strategies.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tool
