Maxton Fox is a Commercial Furniture and Joinery Manufacturer based in Western Sydney. We have been committed to manufacturing in Australia for over 50 years. We have just moved premises to our new, improved factory and are looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our dynamic team ASAP.

About You:

· Excel and Word proficient

· Excellent Communication skills

· Previous experience in purchasing

· Ability to think outside the square & be a problem solver.

· Good oral and writing skills.

· Diligence to detail and maintain complete and accurate documentation and records.

Purchasing Role Tasks:

· Monitoring stock levels.

· Place orders with suppliers.

· Manage the tracking of orders and ensure timely and accurate delivery.

· Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analysis.

· Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing

· Forecasting future stock requirements

· Work in unison with our Estimating Team

· Maintain internal product database.
