The Support Recovery Program—established in partnership with Anglicare—is now a cornerstone of trauma-informed care across Southwestern Sydney.

We're seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to help shape this groundbreaking initiative that's redefining mental health support for victim-survivors of Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence. This is a unique opportunity for a passionate, highly skilled, and experienced leader to guide and strengthen a well-established program making a real difference in the community.

Anglicare and CatholicCare have joined forces to deliver Supporting Recovery—a transformative program providing long term trauma-informed mental health care for victim-survivors of Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence across Southwest Sydney.

About The Program
Supporting Recovery is a transformative initiative delivering trauma-informed mental health care to victim-survivors of Family, Domestic and Sexual Violence (FDSV) across South Western Sydney. The program is designed to support individuals and families in their long-term recovery, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to their unique needs.

Key Features Of Supporting Recovery Include

  • Up to two years of trauma-informed mental health support for victim-survivors of both recent and historical FDSV
  • Services available for adults and children aged 5 years and older, including family-based support
  • A dedicated local care team providing coordination and case management to ensure seamless, wraparound support
  • Delivery from accessible community hubs located in Fairfield, Liverpool, and Bankstown

About The Role
As Practice Manager, you'll lead a team of multi-disciplinary and specialist Mental Health Practitioners, driving excellence in trauma-informed care for victim-survivors of Family, Domestic, and Sexual Violence. Your leadership will be key to delivering best practice and achieving meaningful client outcomes across Southwest Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and day-to-day support to practitioners from diverse professional backgrounds
  • Oversee quality assurance processes and offer expert guidance on service delivery, team performance, and clinical standards
  • Support staff in managing complex and high-needs clients, ensuring care aligns with qualifications and service scope
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with stakeholders to meet client, community, and funding objectives
  • Ensure services meet contractual obligations and maintain effective communication with funding account managers

About You

  • You're a compassionate and capable leader with a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and a commitment to empowering teams and clients alike. You bring:
  • Proven experience coordinating services and guiding individuals and teams to deliver impactful client outcomes
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, counselling, social work, nursing, or a related field
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships across multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared goals
  • Solid understanding of child protection, domestic and family violence legislation, and other frameworks relevant to service delivery
  • A person-centred approach that puts dignity, safety, and recovery at the heart of every interaction
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, paired with strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage competing priorities
  • Experience using electronic client record management systems to support efficient and accurate service delivery
  • A current Working with Children Check
