**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We have an exciting opportunity for a value aligned individual to join our team in the position of Lettings Manager on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
**Key responsibilities in this role include**:
- Ensuring that Hume deliver on our contractual and regulatory obligations linked to the management of void properties, affordable housing and social housing allocations and transfers.
- Overseeing the acquisition and lease management of Leasehold properties, under the Community Housing Leasehold Policy.
- Utilising data and reporting to measure and communicate results with a timely and consistent regularity to inform service improvement, impact measurement and growth opportunities.
- Role modelling customer centric behaviour, leading by example and creating a sense of purpose and team spirit.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of letting strategies for complexes, local areas, hard to let and cohort specific properties.
**WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU**
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Experience in managing, leading, developing, and motivating a team with a proven track record in meeting agreed team KPIs and outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer centric mindset.
- Knowledge and experience in affordable and social housing programs
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, leasehold programs, and real estate management
- Understanding of and capacity to relate to people from a diverse range of social and cultural background, including those with complex needs.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
