About the
role:

We are
seeking a Utility Surveyor to undertake field
tasks related to subsurface utility investigation projects, supporting project
teams to ensure project outcomes are met.

We are
seeking someone with:

  • Previous
    experience undertaking utility surveys using GPR systems, EMF detectors and
    survey equipment
  • Advanced
    knowledge of Trimble and Leica survey equipment
  • Knowledge
    of recording utility networks and assets
  • Proficiency
    in 2D and 3D CAD deliverables
  • Proficiency
    in remote access to digital devices and technology
  • Strong
    interpersonal and communication skills

Key
requirements:

  • Diploma
    or degree in Surveying or related
    geospatial discipline (desirable)
  • Ability
    to move safely over uneven terrain
  • Ability
    to distinguish Uniform Colour Codes used for utility line marking
  • Regularly
    undertake heavy manual handling including lifting, pushing and pulling of
    survey equipment, traffic control barriers, gatic lids, and survey tools
  • Level
    3 medical assessment for access to road and rail corridors
  • Work
    in noisy, dusty, low-light environments around moving mobile plant
