About North East Link
The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project.
The Spark Consortium's Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.
The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads. Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads.
About The Opportunity
We are seeking applications from
Civil Surveyors
to join the Survey Team with opportunities across the project including tunnel, roads, pavements, civil, asphalt, machine guidance, drainage, utilities and survey data management to support the delivery of the North East Link Central Package.
The Spark survey team offers the opportunity to pursue your interests and develop your skills whist working with the latest technology, equipment, and software.
This role will be accountable for:
- Providing clear, concise, and accurate survey setout
- Performing quality checks during construction
- Liaising with construction and engineering teams
- Recording accurate as-builts of work as executed
- Producing survey reports and plans
- Maintain survey data
- Ensure equipment is maintained and performing to a high standard
Qualifications:
A diploma or degree in surveying/engineering
Minimum requirements for this role:
- 3+ years' experience in surveying - experience in Tier1 infrastructure projects highly regarded
- Proficient with modern survey hardware and software systems
- Attention to detail and great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Australian full work rights required
