Brisbane's Leading Independent Hotel is currently seeking a dynamic, glass-half-full handy person. This position is a casual position with days to suit both the business and your availability.

About You:

To be successful in this position you will have the following:

  • You've got the goods – from general handyperson skills and are ready to get busy with the upkeep of our hotel
  • Previous experience in a handyperson role (preferably in a hospitality environment)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • You have a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality.
  • You're self-motivated, disciplined and enjoy resolving issues.
  • Eager to learn and confident to ask questions.
  • Basic Computer Skills are advantageous.

About the role:

Each day presents a new challenge, so this is a great gig for someone with a desire to learn and grow with us.

  • Identify and resolve maintenance defects, completing tasks as part of a preventative maintenance program.
  • Respond to a range of guest requests.
  • Assist in maintaining all equipment, investigating and completing jobs assigned in a timely and safe manner.
  • Maintain a record of works completed.
  • And a bit of painting if thats your specialty
