Key Responsibilities

As a Practice Nurse at Genesis Health Precinct, you will play an integral role in patient care and clinic operations, including:

  • Providing patient care and clinical support to our GPs
  • Administering immunisations and vaccinations (childhood, travel, and adult)
  • Chronic disease management, including GPMPs and TCAs
  • Conducting Health Assessments (45–49 year checks, Over-75s, etc.)
  • Managing recalls, reminders, and results follow-up
  • Assisting with pre-employment medicals and occupational health services
  • Supporting quality improvement initiatives within the practice

Essential Requirements
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1)
  • Immunisation accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
  • Immunisation accreditation must be obtained before starting the position
  • Demonstrated clinical skills and commitment to patient-centred care
  • Previous general practice experience highly desirable
  • Full Australian working rights

Desirable Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Proficiency in clinical software (Best Practice preferred)
  • Organised, reliable, and adaptable to a dynamic clinic setting
