About the role:

Gateway Medical Centre is a well-established and highly regarded healthcare provider known for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to the local community. We're proud of the warm, welcoming environment we have created for both patients and staff we are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nurse (Registered) who thrives in a fast-paced setting and values being part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.

In this role, you will work closely with and report to our Treatment Room Team Leader Nurse , our GPs and allied health professionals to provide a wide range of clinical services and ensure the efficient operation of our Treatment Room.

Key Responsibilities: working with the Treatment Room Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Triaging patients and supporting clinical procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of infection control and vaccine management.

  • Providing patient education on self-care, disease management, and preventive measures

  • Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.

  • ECGs, Spirometry

  • Covid Clinic and immunisation experience

  • Maintaining infection control protocols and adhering to healthcare regulations under the direction of the Treatment Room Team Leader

  • Participate in audits, training, and continuous improvement activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Current AHPRA registration (RN or EN).

  • Previous experience in general practice or treatment rooms (preferred).

  • Effective communication and organisational skills.

  • Knowledge of adult and childhood immunisation schedules.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and medical software.

  • Knowledge of Medical Director or Best Practice software.

  • Commitment to patient safety and quality care.

  • High standard of personal presentation.

  • Experience working within a team.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Evidence of required immunisations: Hepatitis B, DTP (diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis), and TB screening (maybe required) and current CPR Certificate
