The Hungry LLAMA is a Peruvian/Latin-inspired restaurant located in Semaphore, and we are looking for an Experienced Chef to join our growing team. We are seeking someone who is passionate about food, reliable in a busy kitchen environment, and excited to create bold, flavour-driven dishes.
About the Role
- Prepare and cook Peruvian and Latin-inspired dishes
- Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and presentation
- Support kitchen operations during service
- Work closely with the Head Chef and team
- Ensure kitchen hygiene and safety standards are followed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional kitchen experience
- Strong understanding of kitchen procedures and food preparation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability
- Experience with Latin or international cuisines is an advantage (but not required)
