About the Role
We're seeking an agile and outcomes focused Superannuation Product Manager to help ensure our products remain competitive and compliance while shaping the future of our Superannuation product.

This role requires a hands-on, solutions-oriented approach to product management, with the ability to navigate and refine complex business processes. As a Superannuation Product Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring our Superannuation product offerings remain competitive in market, deliver on customer value proposition, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, meet commercial outcomes and innovate over time. You will also be supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives, ensuring they are executed in line with regulatory obligations and Betashares' broader commercial objectives. Role Responsibilities:
- Provide end-to-end support of all superannuation product management activities, including stakeholder coordination, process optimisation and delivery of member-focused outcomes.
- Drive growth and member retention through the delivery of innovative product solutions, via collaboration with key business stakeholders.
- Ensure the superannuation product suite and insurance offering complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative frameworks, including adherence to disclosure obligations and internal policies.
- Coordinate the administration of life insurance arrangements within the superannuation product, managing workflows with external providers, resolving operational issues, and ensuring timely delivery of services.
- Support the preparation of APRA superannuation data submissions by working with internal stakeholders to compile, validate, and submit regulatory information in line with APRA reporting standards.
- Provide technical expertise and support in the resolution of member complaints, working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely and compliant responses.
- Provide input and contribution to product strategy and roadmap including design, business case(s), recommendations, and drive execution.
- Represent the product team in cross-functional projects across the Betashares group and in external engagements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support and contribute to member engagement activities, providing subject matter expertise to enhance the campaign effectiveness and the member experience.
- Work closely with the investment management team on all aspects of the superannuation product, including changes to investment options, including investments added, closed and removed from product menus.
- Support management on engagement with the Trustee and external Regulators including ASIC and APRA.
Skills & Experience:
- 5 years' experience within product management across Superannuation and related financial services products.
- Strong understanding and experience of superannuation and end-to-end business operations within the Product team's portfolio.
- Understanding of competitors propositions and Superannuation/Investment industry trends.
- Understanding of the regulatory and compliance regime for superannuation.
- A strong desire for continuous improvement, process and data automation through innovative technology.
- RG146 qualifications (not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of superannuation and wealth management products, process and regulatory environment.
- Highly developed delivery and implementation skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent numerical proficiency, strong commercial acumen, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Comprehensive understanding of Superannuation, market structures and the broader asset management ecosystem.
- Excellent communication and collaboration mindset.
- Strong ability to utilise data and information to draw out insights and drive outcomes.
- Capacity to quickly comprehend intricate concepts and adjust to shifting circumstances.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFA or a Master of Applied Finance are advantageous.
