How will you make an impact
The purpose of the role is to define and execute the strategy of the Bank's Business Finance activities and will lead and scale this function as part of our Lending & Everyday Banking Leadership team. This extends to the acquisition, credit assessment, servicing, retention and collections activities related to financial planner and mortgage broking customers (but could extend to other similar customer groups).
What you will bring to the role
- Leadership experience within Banking- with a strong background in commercial lending / small business financing in the Australian market
- Experience in credit assessment related and sales related experience in commercial lending / small business financing would be highly preferred
- Additional experience in customer service, Business Banking, or Financial Services Licensee or other experience in financial services including mortgage lending is also advantageous
- Demonstrated experience in leading significant changes in ways of working and ability to influence and build capability across a national marketplace in business lending or financial services
- Experience in development and delivery of key market business plans with executional delivery through a dedicated team of relationship managers, credit assessors
- Demonstrated previous leadership experience in leading a team to achieve excellent results & best practice in a rapidly changing market
