Finance Support Officer

The Role:
The Department is seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Support Officer for a 12-month contract.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 5+ years' experience in Federal Government Financial area, expertise in financial reporting, month end cycles, budget management and accruals.
- Supporting Directors to manage internal BAU and Project Budgets, including providing status reports to executive.
- Maintaining relationships with a network of internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Financial Business Partners, Reporting functions and Directors.
- Any other tasks as directed by the Department.
Location and Contract Term: This role is based in ACT. 12 month contract with 1 x 12-month extension options pending budget and delegate approval.
Security Requirements: Applicants must be Australian Citizens. A Baseline security clearance is required for this role or the ability to obtain is required.
