Data Engineering Lead
We're looking for a Data Engineering Lead to lead the build-out of scalable data infrastructure for real-time analytics and reporting. This is a leadership-first role (60%) with continued technical delivery (40%).
In This Role, You Will:
- Lead a growing team of data engineers growing to 6.
- Build and manage streaming data pipelines using Python, Kafka, and AWS.
- Maintain and enhance our Redshift-based data warehouse for analytics/reporting.
- Work across product and engineering teams on data governance and Power BI outputs.
- Write and review clean, scalable code; guide architectural decisions.
- Monitor system performance and lead production incident resolution.
Your Background:
- Expert in Python, AWS, and streaming tools like Kafka or PubSub.
- Solid understanding of Redshift and distributed data systems.
- Comfortable leading teams, running sprints, and supporting junior engineers.
- Bonus: Apache stack and Java exposure.
