Lead Data Engineering Position
This role is for a senior data engineer who can lead the design and delivery of robust data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading cross-functional teams and guiding them through the full lifecycle of a project from discovery to production. They must also be able to translate technical complexity into business-friendly insights.
Responsibilities:
  • Design and deliver data pipelines.
  • Own the full lifecycle of a project from discovery through to production.
  • Guide cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field with major in Software Engineering.
  • 7+ years' experience in data engineering and analytics.
  • Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, Informatica, and Unix scripting.
  • Experience with big data processing frameworks such as Spark and Kafka.
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Services, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Cosmos DB, Snowflake, Teradata, and enterprise data architecture.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale transformation environments.
  • Ability to drive innovation across the data lifecycle.
