ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Head of Infrastructure leads Hampshire Property Group's IT infrastructure, operations, and service delivery functions across Australia and New Zealand.

You'll oversee network connectivity, service desk operations, Business Unit IT Operations & Onboarding, and Fibre Up operations — ensuring a secure, reliable, and scalable technology environment for our 900+ staff and 80+ sites.

This is a key leadership role driving operational excellence, business continuity, and the continued success of our cloud-first, Microsoft 365–based environment.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead, mentor, and develop IT operational teams across Cloud & Security, Networks & Telecom, Service Desk, and BU IT Operations.
• Translate strategic technology roadmaps into practical, high-impact operational delivery plans.
• Oversee network infrastructure, connectivity, and telecommunications across all HPG sites.
• Manage the Fibre Up program to ensure consistent, reliable connectivity for parks and customers.
• Collaborate with the Head of Cloud & Security to optimise Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Drive a high-performing Service Desk and End User Support function focused on user satisfaction.
• Lead IT onboarding and infrastructure readiness for new park acquisitions and transitions.
• Maintain compliance, governance, and business continuity readiness.
• Oversee vendor contracts, operational budgets, and service-level performance.
• Champion continuous improvement, automation, and operational innovation.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of IT infrastructure or operations experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Proven experience managing cloud-based environments (Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune).
• Strong background in network management and ITIL-aligned service delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and decision-making skills.
• A collaborative, forward-thinking approach with a passion for innovation and team growth.

Desirable:

• ITIL v4 Certification.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or similar.
• Experience in multi-site or distributed environments (property, hospitality, or services).
• Exposure to security governance and compliance frameworks.
