About the Role

Refined Care is seeking a reliable and compassionate female Support Worker to join our team in Croydon. The role involves providing in-home assistance with daily living tasks, maintaining hygiene, and following structured routines to ensure a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal and domestic support in line with care requirements.
  • Follow hygiene practices, including correct sponge usage for dishes, benches, and cups.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and laundry areas (e.g., benchtops, sinks).
  • Assist with laundry tasks when requested.
  • Complete all tasks calmly, without rushing.
  • Stay until the scheduled finish time (leaving early is not permitted).
  • Communicate respectfully and check preferences with the participant when unsure.

Key Requirements

  • Female Support Worker (requirement based on participant preference).
  • Previous experience in disability support, aged care, or a similar role is highly regarded.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain high hygiene standards.
  • Reliable, patient, and consistent approach to care.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
  • Flexibility to work shifts in Croydon.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.15 – $42.85 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week

Licence/Certification:

  • Working with Children Check (Preferred)
  • NDIS Clearance (Preferred)
  • Police Check (Preferred)
  • First Aid and CPR (Required)
