THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a full-time Sales Estimator to join our Adelaide office on a full-time basis. As a Sales Estimator, you are responsible for maintaining quality of work, high levels of accuracy and meeting the required turnaround times for all work produced.  

Some key accountabilities of this role include:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for tenders, variations and contracts, including appropriate margin considerations
• Complete set tasks and achieve job targets within the designated time frames.
• Maintain organised files and appropriate documentation of completed work
• Analysing relevant documentation and providing accurate take offs to ensure all aspects of the build are included.
• Offer support to the sales, operations and construction teams to help deliver exceptional customer service across all aspects of the home build.
• Obtain relevant quotes and pricing for non-standard variations

WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for someone with 1-2 years' residential building industry experience in sales estimating. In addition, it would be highly advantageous to have a tertiary/TAFE qualification in estimating.

Knowledge of National Construction Code is required, along with strong analytical skills and the capability to interpret technical drawings. You must be able to actively contribute and work collaboratively within a tight-knit team.

You have the capacity to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach to your work. Having high attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, achieve set targets and KPI's and demonstrate planning/organisational and time management skills are desired.

The ideal candidate would have the ability and willingness to upskill into other aspects of the estimating function, in particular production estimating or special projects.
